Ehm.. Unlike other friends, who are very smart and creative in the way they present their photo-stories, I’ll just go straight to the point … :D

My old boss called me this morning, an offer to build a network at Natuna island came up and he wants me on his team. This is a relieving offer, knowing my skill is needed by someone else. Despite my ability to go there or to fulfill the job offer, but knowing that someone still value and want me on their team is enriching my day.

Is it going to be a yes or no? We’ll talk on that later. :D

BTW, my main blog is down again, MySQL overload (again) i think. I should really move now..

I was just starting to gain another chance of hope and trust for my primary blog, but the server is too crowded, too much clients, I suppose.

So, while I’m rethinking about moving to other hosting package or other hosting company, I’ll just blog here :D   This blog is better anyway, less known, less visitor, almost no life… more freedom :P

Anyway, I love this blog’s title and tag-line. So ‘me’ … :)

That’s the term, they said it’s a temporary thing, that in the future they might need us back on the job. Whatever. Maybe this is the answer to all my questions and wondering, my last post has received the answer. But I believe the decision is given to me, not taken by me. I believe that God has given a sign or correction to me through all this, to tell me “move forward, do something else!”

Hopefully it will bring me and my family to a better phase in our lives. Specially in this time, when my family needed me most, my wife being pregnant with our second child, my son is entering a new and more advanced school, and my parents need someone to help them do all their things.

A part time teaching offer has come and hopefully I am the right person they’re looking for. With the cut off news today, I’ve received a lot of offering from fellow workers, mostly my superiors in the office to work on various projects. I’ll just take it first as a sign that they all appriciate my work all this time. Which will I take, I’ll just go through it more specifically one at a time, later.

I’m now back on the hunt, job hunt, and hopefully I will get a new one soon, a lot better one, I believe.

If i think it over, everybody just want me to leave. When they see me, they always ask me “Are you still there?”, not in a positive way, but in a negative kind of question. It’s like, “Are you crazy? I can’t believe you’re still there!”

It’s almost 2 years. Less than one month to go, by the 15 of August. Is this the end for me? I’ve been complaining a lot more than I can remember any great moment with this place. That should be a good sign that this place is bad for me. I haven’t been in this bad shape ever since the days my wife left me alone in Jakarta to go home at her hometown for about a month. Thank God I still have the people I love around to cheer me up. But I think they all also hope that I would leave this place and start something else.

Is the decision and the resignation letter is ever gonna come out? Let’s wait until the meeting is over, let’s wait until I reach the number 2. I’ve dreamed about this since October last year, so it’s have been about 9 months by now. Is the child gonna come out eventually? Please show me what to do, dear God..

Time or Hours? 09.05.06

Well, here goes an update :)

Just recently about 4 days ago, I stumbled upon an interesting page. The idea is quite phenomenal and offers many advantages and efficiency.

At that moment, while I was reading the article, the idea seems nice and acceptable, I even think that I would talk/share about this to some people I know. But after a day pass by, I realized something strange. If the idea is to cope with the “Did you ever feel like there just weren’t enough hours in the day?” question, and far more about using our hours in more advantageous ways, this scenario came up in my head: “Okay, let’s just say everybody in the world agree with this concept and the world then decided to use this concept. What would it be like? For sure, after about 10 years (maximum), we would have said that 28 hours is not enough.”

For me then, the answer is not how much time there is in a day, but how well do you spend your time in a day. Okay, you don’t feel tired enough after a day’s (plus night) activity.. Well I say, Lucky you, you have more time to spend doing something else while some of us are too tired to even brush our teeth before sleeping at night. Adding hours to a day is just not the answer.

Another reason, and the most important one, is that the 28 hours a day concept is a ‘rebelion’ toward God’s intention when God created everything. Well, at least in the Bible, God created everything (including man & woman) in 6 days, and on the 7th day, God rest. So, that’s why there’s 7 day in a week. About 24 hours, for me, it’s just a method and calculation of time that’s used throughout the ages to simplify and breakdown a day. Just imagine if there’s no ‘hour’, ‘minute’, ’second’ concept, what a mess it would be. So, don’t be amazed by the ‘24′, but rather be amazed of the ‘time’ and use them wisely.

To close my post, just try this scenario: try to substract the amount of time in a second, so that a second is only ‘half of a second’ and call it a second, then you can call it a 48 hour day, not just 28.. won’t you have a lot more time in your hands? Again, it’s not how much time you have, but how well you use your time.

Sorry for my bad english.. just trying to pull something out of my dizzy head…
